The “Off The Rails” roots came out of a jam session in Burlington, NC known as “Bruggfest”. When the jam session ended Carlton contacted Ryan and said hey “let’s jam!” So they started jamming on some blues music and then contacted Jimmy to join them on bass. Jimmy brought, Funk, Soul, and Classic Rock to the band. As jamming continued we decided that we were having too much fun and wanted to play some gigs. But we had one problem….. We needed a name!!! After much thought and deliberation we named the band “Off The Rails” symbolic of our combined personality’s and sense of humor.
