Bass guitarist and lead vocalist Jimmy Matherly has been performing with live bands for approximately 50 years. His first influences are heavily rooted in soul, funk and R & B. He has been fortunate to share the stage with many great recording artists through the years. In the late eighties Jimmy was able to land four originally penned songs on the debut album by the biological sister of Prince, Tyka Nelson. Jimmy believes in bringing a solid pocket bass groove to OTR with an occasional show-out here and there.
